What is going on with Hillary Clinton's hair? During her run for the Presidency, she looked great. It was blonde, short, and styled. Attractive and professional. The best she ever looked was at the Democratic National Convention, four years ago. When she asked, "Were you in this campaign just for me?" I wanted to jump up and say, "Yes, Hillary, YOU should be our nominee!" Smart, confident, self-assured.
In sharp contrast are pictures of her today, as Secretary of State. Her hair looks tired, as does her face. Could it only be four years between these two pictures?
Worse yet is the most recent photo of her sporting a high-school ponytail. Really? At 65 years old? Talking about our foreign policy strategy for Libya?
C'mon, Hil, get your game back. Get some style and get back in the race.
We need you in 2016!
I could not agree with you more!!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, it is well-understood in Washington, DC that there are NO decent hairstylists.
I really do not know why this is -- but for years, Clairol (my former employer) did the hair for the First Ladies (I remember especially with Nancy Reagan) -- but I do not know if they all took advantage of this perk.
One of the guys who assisted back then (for some reason, PR always reported through me) was Michael Canale, who to this day still comes to NYC once a month from Beverly Hills (that's when I get my hair colored) and then goes to Washington, DC to see clients there. It seems Michael is always trying to get a decent cutter to join him in DC (it is really that bad down in DC) Canale Salon – Michael Canale
Back to Hillary -- when she has a moment to see someone decent, she looks GREAT -- I think she has been working her butt off (and I believe she is doing an amazing job, IMHO) -- but when she is here in NYC and can relax, she looks great.
Four years ago she was fresh off the surgical table (thus, "tired" evaporates). Today she has stated that longer hair that can be pulled back helps her avoid having to travel with a stylist (that would not play well in Libya I would imagine)and her short hair is flat and looks terrible unless it is blown out. Men don't have to deal as much with these types of issues although poor Elizabeth Warren could use a serious stylist as well. One thing we DO agree on...
ReplyDeleteHillary in 2016 and this time it will stick.
Good to know the real reason.
ReplyDeleteEven a stylist can't help that hick Elizabeth Warren.
