best christmas present ever (m)

Came home from my brother's Christmas Eve party last night after midnight.  Had left my iphone home so I couldn't get calls or emails to distract me from the festivities.

While looking at my emails, I see a note from my gynecologist.

The polyps they biopsied last week are benign.

My maternal grandmother who had no formal education used to say "When you have your health, you have everything you need".  She was a very wise woman.

In a few minutes, my family and I will open gifts but I already got what I wished for.
